[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
I’m in need of some thoughts and opinions about girl names that go well with a brother named [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. The last name is two syllables and starts with “Ch” and ends with “t”. Some ideas I already have are:
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] with nn “[name_f]Lily[/name_f]” (both are really nice, but the latter seems a little more distinctive)
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
Caliana nn “[name_u]Cal[/name_u]” (suggested by friend, but unsure about it)
I think [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] is really pretty and has the same kind of unique yet still refined sound as [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
Building on the suggestion of Caliana, might I [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] or [name_f]Calla[/name_f]? The later fits it with the preference you seem to have for nature/floral names. Another name I think would be precious with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] would [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] (again floral).
Best of luck!
I really like [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], And [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] for you, especially [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].
Quite a nice start! From the list so far, my favorite with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] is [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. Both names are peppy and lovely. I’ve also noticed that some of your current girls’ favorites could also be excellent suggestions, particularly [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]. Other ideas:
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] (possible nn [name_f]Lily[/name_f]): This might be a nice consideration in place of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Liliana[/name_f]. [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] is a bit trendy and if you find that [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is too dated/not distinctive enough, this name splits the difference by being unique but also having a long history of usage. I also like the “l” sound that ties the names together. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], [name_f]Cat[/name_f], etc.): I don’t know if alliteration between siblings will be an issue, but I think [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] sound lovely together. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] also keeps the double letter present in several of the names and many of the sounds of [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Calista[/name_f]/Calluna (nn [name_u]Cal[/name_u] or [name_f]Callie[/name_f]): Might be a bit too “out there,” but presents an alternative to Caliana that is similar, but not the same. Keeps that great “l” sound as well. [name_f]Calista[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]; Calluna and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. Again, love the repeated “l” sound.
[name_f]Karina[/name_f]/[name_f]Carina[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]): Has the mood/vibe of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], but returns the sounds of Caliana. I think it also sounds wonderful with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. [name_f]Karina[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]; [name_f]Carina[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. I like the strong “r” in both.
[name_f]Carys[/name_f]: A beautiful, feminine selection with many of the sounds you tend to favor. Plus, I like that [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f] both have that wonderful “y” sound. [name_f]Carys[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Millicent[/name_f] nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f]: A bit of a stretch, but a unique and distinctive alternative to [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] or Caliana. [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]: A short, sweet, impactful name with that “y” sound. [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cassie[/name_f]): A distinctive, rare, and beautiful nature name with a “C” sound and a double letter. [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]: Another modern classic name with strong consonant sounds and a feel compatible with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]/[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]/[name_f]Cierra[/name_f]: The double letter, plus a vivid choice that is perfect with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] sound like the perfect modern siblings.
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f]: This could be just about perfect. It combines the sounds of [name_f]Liliana[/name_f]/[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] as well as Caliana, and is distinctive but recognizable, just like [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. It also keeps the “l” sound consistent. [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Camilla[/name_f].
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]: I love this as well. It’s a rarity, but a beautiful one. It maintains the strong “l” sound present in three of the names on your list, but is also a nature name, just like [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. It gives you a mix of your favorite sounds, plus a nice meaning. [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and [name_f]Camellia[/name_f].
Of my recommendations, my favorites are [name_f]Camellia[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_f]Carys[/name_f], and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. I wish you the best!
To my ear, [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is the best fit with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u], but I also quite like [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] and I think that works too.
Thank you all so much for all the wonderful help! I really like [name_f]Calista[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], [name_f]Carys[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_f]Camellia[/name_f], and [name_f]Carina[/name_f]/[name_f]Karina[/name_f]! Thanks again!
