Beautiful little CLEMENTINE [name]VICTORIA[/name] arrived 9 days late on [name]Monday[/name], [name]April[/name] 16th 2012! A new baby sister for [name]CLAUDIA[/name] [name]EDIE[/name] (3) and [name]CHRISTABEL[/name] [name]JULIET[/name] (2). We are in the UK - near Manchester, in the [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] - so our trio of names certainly attracts some attention in the sea of the usual suspects over here…!
I toyed with a few other names during my pregnancy, but she was always destined to be [name]Clementine[/name] since I’d had a soft spot for the name before I was even expecting again! Her middle name was undecided until after she was born, however! I managed to cajole their Dad into having some input with her middle name (he’s made the final choice on our other girls’ MNs) and from a lengthy-ish list of suggestions I’d served up to him, he plumped for [name]Victoria[/name], which narrowly pipped [name]Beatrix[/name] to the post. [name]Victoria[/name] was probably the most traditional or mainstream name I’d put on the MN list, but it is classic rather than overused, and so elegantly pretty and sophisticated.
Now I feel the urge to get researching again and line up another C name, just in case we decide to go for no.4… Lol!
