A twin for Holly!

Hey everyone!! I’ve been struggling with finding a name for my protagonist’s twin! I want the names to flow nicely, and sound like they’re twins, but I just can’t seem to find a name that suits my character and goes along with his sister’s name {[name_f]Holly[/name_f]}!
Here’s a little bit about him:

  • His last name will be [name_m]Weaver[/name_m].
  • He has a twin sister named [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Robyn[/name_f] [name_m]Weaver[/name_m], and they’re both fifteen.
  • He is very persistent, optimistic, and quiet.

Thanks!!

Update:
Thanks primandproper!! I definitely like Ethan and Devon, although I would probably spell Devon, Devin instead :). I was also considering the name Rudy.

Update #2:
Thank you writer22!! I will add Lucas to my list! I recently thought up the idea of maybe having a nature name for him since his twin’s name is Holly. Does anyone know any such as:
Ash
Rowan
Basil
Reed
Sage
Linden
River

Update #3:
Thanks nic_blondie! I love all those names!! What do you guys think about Rowan Jay Weaver?

Thanks again!!

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Prosper[/name_m]
[name_u]Beck[/name_u]
[name_m]George[/name_m]
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m]
[name_m]Brian[/name_m]
[name_u]Devon[/name_u]

Ideas that come to mind:
[name_u]Jamie[/name_u]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Evan[/name_u]
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] (or [name_m]Lukas[/name_m])
[name_u]Bo[/name_u]
Terr

I also see that you liked the names [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_u]Devin[/name_u], and [name_u]Rudy[/name_u]. All those sound good too!

I tried to stick to tree-based names but I wasn’t sure how well a lot of the names I was finding would sound with [name_f]Holly[/name_f]:
[name_m]Pike[/name_m]
[name_m]Forrest[/name_m]
[name_u]Glen[/name_u]
[name_m]Flint[/name_m]
[name_m]Cliff[/name_m]
[name_u]Jay[/name_u]
[name_u]Finch[/name_u]
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_u]Oak[/name_u]
[name_m]Cullen[/name_m] (means “holly tree”…)
[name_u]Darragh[/name_u] (“oak tree”)
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (“olive tree”)

[name_f]Holly[/name_f] is also associated with [name_u]Christmas[/name_u], if you want to play with that:
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (both natural & seasonal)
[name_m]Gabe[/name_m]
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_u]Noel[/name_u]

I like the pairings of [name_f]Holly[/name_f] & [name_u]Glen[/name_u], and [name_f]Holly[/name_f] & [name_u]Noel[/name_u]. [name_u]Noel[/name_u] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] [name_m]Weaver[/name_m] might be a nice name, or [name_u]Glen[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_m]Weaver[/name_m], just to keep the nature-bird theme going (I’d suggest [name_u]Jay[/name_u] as a first name but every time I see [name_f]Holly[/name_f] and [name_u]Jay[/name_u] in the same sentence I think of [name_f]Holly[/name_f] J. from Degrassi  ).

Good luck

I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]. I think it suits [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Robyn[/name_f] nicely
