I stumbled across this, and I’m not really sure how to pronounce it the culturally appropriate name, but I was thinking how sweet Ay-bah would be, like [name_f]Ava[/name_f] but softer? I think I found a new name crush

[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: this is [name_u]West[/name_u] African, [name_u]Abba[/name_u] like the band isn’t quite the same

i would assume ay-ba as well, like a female version of abe! i’ve never heard of it, but i quite like it! :sparkles:

I assumed it was AW-buh (aw sound as in “call” or “hot”)! What a pretty name!

I knew an [name_u]Aba[/name_u] who did pn it like the band [name_u]Abba[/name_u] - not sure if that’s the only pn though!
It’s a pretty name

I want to like it, and I know it’s pronounced differently, but all I see is the Hebrew word for father (Abba). The association is just too strong for me.
