Abbie as a nickname for Annabeth?

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f] is a name with a huge variety of nicknames, but most of them sound too obvious. When I think about [name_f]Anna[/name_f]/[name_f]Annie[/name_f] or [name_f]Beth[/name_f]/Bethy, it feels that I had just split Annabeth back to the names it was created from. My friend suggested me the nickname [name_u]Abbie[/name_u] and I loved it at first, but now I am unsure.
Could you give me your opinion?
Thanks! ”

I love it! It definitely works, in my opinion, and is super cute!

I think it totally works!

I think [name_u]Abby[/name_u] works just fine (or [name_u]Abbie[/name_u]). I had always thought if I used [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] that [name_u]Abby[/name_u] could be a nn option, although I like [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_u]Issy[/name_u] more (and even [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_u]Isa[/name_u], Isby, and [name_f]Ella[/name_f]). It has come to feel like you’re just taking the middle of the name, but have a nn just as ordinary as [name_f]Anna[/name_f] or [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is. I don’t know. It certainly works, and it’s novel for -beth and -belle names, but I feel like it doesn’t really celebrate all the uniqueness of quirky [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], honestly. Although I can’t think of any other nickname options that would… Sorry. I would just use [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], honestly. It’s gorgeous.

It works, but I think [name_f]Beth[/name_f] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are much cuter.

Thanks for your opinion!

I think that to some extent [name_u]Abbie[/name_u] works, however I think [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is a better choice
