Abel

What do you think of the name [name_m]Abel[/name_m]? What kind of style do you think it is? I love classic, slightly old-fashioned/vintage names. My son is [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] “[name_u]Theo[/name_u].” [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think they are similar in style and would make a good pair for brothers? I like the nn’s of [name_m]Abe[/name_m] and [name_u]Abey[/name_u], though they would only be used occasionally as I love [name_m]Abel[/name_m] in full and it is already short. Thanks!

I like [name_m]Abel[/name_m]! I like the way it’s soft and sweet, but it also sounds solid and capable. I think it sounds vintage but underused, and I like how [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Abel[/name_m] sound together

I like [name_m]Abel[/name_m] a lot. I wouldn’t say it is exactly the same style as [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], but I think they work together. [name_m]Abel[/name_m] sounds Biblical and maybe like an American colonial name, whereas [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] feels more upper class and I associate it with the president. I think [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] would go well with [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] too.
