Aberdeen as a brother for Jedidiah?

Hello,
I have just posted in the general name area about a name I heard on the radio yesterday.

Up until this name struck me, I had my second sons name pinned down 100% as [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u] as a brother for [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] nn [name_m]Jed[/name_m].

Now I’ve heard [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u], I really like it, but I’m not sure if it will ‘go’, with [name_m]Jed[/name_m].

I really like ultra masculine, unusual, spunky names, with kind of short old man nn’s.

Does [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] fit. [name_m]Jed[/name_m] and [name_m]Abe[/name_m], or soft and unisex?

Although it IS unisex, I would still say it’s a strong masculine name. I love it in general and love it with [name_m]Jed[/name_m] - much more than [name_m]Magnus[/name_m].

[name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] and [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] don’t go together in the traditional sense, but I do think they sound good as brothers.

I think [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] & [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] go together better that [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] & [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. I like the nn [name_m]Abe[/name_m] but I also like [name_u]Deen[/name_u].

[name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] is a great name, and I think [name_m]Jed[/name_m] and [name_u]Deen[/name_u] go really well together. I much prefer [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u] to [name_m]Magnus[/name_m].
