My husband and I don’t know if we are having a boy or a girl yet, but we are considering names we like for both genders right now. If it’s a girl, we know we want to use [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] (my mother’s namesake) for the middle name. It’s a little too popular for us to want to use it as a first name, but we both love the name! We would just like to choose something that is less used for our baby’s first name. Our last name is two syllables and starts with an “H” sound. Which of these first name options sounds best with [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] in your opinion as far as flow of syllables?
I agree with you about [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] being too popular. [name_m]Trust[/name_m] me.
I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] is my second favorite but I think the flow is better with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
Oh, I love [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] in the middle; I have [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] on my list!
In order of preference:
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] are practically a tie though, both are gorgeous with [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is not really my style.
