Olive and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]!
I’m really loving [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]!
What about
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
Rosemary and [name_u]Basil[/name_u] are amazing together
I guess [name_u]Sage[/name_u] then, if this sibset is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]/Basil. Rosemay/Sage makes the most sense.
From your list, [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f].
Other names could be:
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] (means cinnamon flower)
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f]
[name_u]Clove[/name_u]
[name_f]Avis[/name_f] (means bird)
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_u]Arbor[/name_u]
And my personal favorite for you:
[name_u]Briar[/name_u]
On how fun [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_u]Basil[/name_u] together…
Your list is good, though I agree with some posters that a longer name may fit very well… Perhaps 3-4 syllables is most comfortable?
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is a pretty suggestion
I’ll suggest
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] &
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] !
Rosemary is wonderful and I also love [name_u]Basil[/name_u]! Beautiful choices.
From your list I love:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_u]Lark[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Olive[/name_f] (my favorite… they just have the same vibe)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Luna[/name_f]
From others I love:
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] & [name_u]Willow[/name_u]
Lastly, regarding [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]… it is a lovely name and I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] sound delightful as sisters. It just depends on if you are set on a “nature-y” name. Otherwise I would go for [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]!!
Poppy and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] for a sis to [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
Thank you everyone for your input! I appreciate the thoughtfulness of your replies
We had our baby yesterday and she was indeed a girl!
The name we settled on, after much deliberation, is
[name_u]Lark[/name_u] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
Honestly it was a bit scary for me to settle on the name because I know [name_u]Lark[/name_u] is fairly unusual. But we just felt it most strongly in our hearts.
My sister in law just asked ‘so is [name_u]Lark[/name_u] the first name or middle name’ and ‘so we should call her [name_u]Lark[/name_u] not [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]?’. That seemed a bit rude.
But anyway, we love her and her name! And [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] too is in love with her, although she just calls her ‘[name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_f]Sister[/name_f]’.
Lark is a fabulous name. I’ve known one who is now in her 40s. She is [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] [name_u]Larkin[/name_u] called [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] [name_u]Lark[/name_u]. All our lives, she got compliments (and comments ) on her name.
I used [name_u]Lark[/name_u] for a very minor female character in my third published fiction release this summer. Two readers already emailed me basically- ‘Wow. [name_u]Lark[/name_u]. I love that.’
It’s perfect with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (which is lovely). Reminds me of [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] [name_u]Lark[/name_u]’s sister, [name_f]Tabatha[/name_f].
Enjoy your girls! Sincerely, [name_f]Ginger[/name_f]
From your list I love [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f]
Congratulations! It’s such a sweet name. I immediately thought of the actress [name_u]Lark[/name_u] Voorhies (from Saved By the [name_u]Bell[/name_u]!) I think it goes so well with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] too–nature-inspired but still unique.
All are beautiful options! I would say [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is my favourite, because it has the same timeless elegance and obvious nature connection as [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. That being said, [name_u]Lark[/name_u], [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] are all wonderful as well - they just don’t share the timeless aspect; it depends whether or not that’s important to you. [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] are bright and fun, I like them.
I could never get into [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f], I think they’ve aged a little. However, they could definitely still work. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is gorgeous, but [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a very feminine name while [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is very unisex - I personally don’t think it’s a problem but I just thought I would let you know that I don’t think they match in that sense.
My least favourite is [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. All the others are interesting and either elegant or fun, while to me, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is average and has been used to death.
Congratulations! That’s a beautiful name.
I LOVE [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]!
