What do you think of these as sibling names? [name_f]Do[/name_f] they go together? What about [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]? What names do you think ‘fit’ together that are similar?
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] feels too nicknamey for me, especially next to [name_m]Abraham[/name_m]. [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] nn. [name_m]Abe[/name_m] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Amy[/name_f] work better, both names have similar vintage feel and a short, cute nickname.
[name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - I don’t know why, but they just don’t seem to fit well, maybe try [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]?
I like all of the names but I think [name_m]Abraham[/name_m]/[name_f]Amy[/name_f] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m]/[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] are too similar for siblings. [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] not only shares an initial with [name_f]Amy[/name_f] but the last two letters of the name are the first two in [name_f]Amy[/name_f]. The other pair have matchy sounds too: [name_u]Jo[/name_u]/[name_f]Ro[/name_f] and l’s.
I actually like the way the names sound similar. I’m wondering more if they… sound good together, I’m sorry I’m not very articulate when I don’t have the words to say what I’m thinking.
[name_m]Abraham[/name_m] and [name_f]Amy[/name_f] are super similar and matchy, too much so for my taste. [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] sound PERFECT together, though <3
No to [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] and [name_f]Amy[/name_f]. Obviously they share a first initial (and admittedly I’m not a fan) but one feels very short 70s/80s to me (yes I know it’s been around a while but that’s when it was uber popular) while [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] is more of a Biblical classic with several great nickname possibilities ([name_m]Abe[/name_m] and [name_m]Bram[/name_m]). I agree with @psg007 about [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] being a good substitute. And I do like [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] much better as a sibset. Best of luck!
