What are your thoughts on [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]?
What does it make you think off? What vibe and imagery do you get from it?
[name_m]How[/name_m] would it fit in the with the rest of the combos in my signature?
Any (nicely put) comments are appreciated!
PS. I’m currently not looking for other suggestions nor would I switch the names around
It’s absolutely beautiful!
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Ada[/name_f]! It’s probably the one first name we have picked out for a future daughter
I think the full name you have picked out is beautiful. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] flows beautifully. I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but I appreciate how wonderfully they go together. It makes me picture a sweet, studious, beautiful girl/young lady. It also sounds very English to me, which isn’t a bad thing by any means, but just something that stood out to me
Fantastic choice!
[name_f]Ada[/name_f], to me, is a fashionable [name_f]Belle[/name_f] Époque lady, but while the name carries this flavour I can picture it easily on a modern woman. It’s a light and petite name, and I think of it as a pale, misty-pink colour. Image 1 | Image 2
I think of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] as a bright honey-yellow, which explains why the imageries I associate with the name are brightly tinted in yellow. She is more of a rustic beauty, to me, and I think of countryside scenes. Image 1 | Image 2 | Image 3
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] feels [name_m]French[/name_m] and quite chic, in a way I can see blending quite easily with the stylish Edwardian feel of [name_f]Ada[/name_f], or the more bucolic beauty of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f], as a diminutive, makes me think of a child, and for some reason the colour red, dark wood and flowers. Image 1 | Image 2
Together, they create quite a juxtaposition of images, but there are certain things that bind them. The combo has a sweetly antique flavour, pretty and ladylike. I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would go beautifully with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] particularly.
Although I’m sure my imageries are quite subjective, so they shouldn’t be really taken into account.
@boyandgirl
Thank You!
@namegirl3
Interestingly enough I’ve always like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f], just not for me, however, certain combinations just make me love the names in them, [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] was like that and now it seems [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] follow suit, they just seem to make sense with [name_f]Ada[/name_f]
@musaraigne
I’ve really enjoyed your imageries and descriptions! Thank you for taking the time to comment so much
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] I can definitely see being pink, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is a soft grey to me, very sophisticated and calm, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] I see as a dark green, like a deep forest, or maybe a soft pink or blue, though the latter is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as a child while the dark green is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as an adult. Together, the have muted light blue colour.
I’m not sure about [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I’m not sure how your pronouncing it though.
@theirishsaint
I pronounce [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] “bee-a-tris”, though it’s a very short second syllable, so most times, it’s a 2.5 syllable name for me.
@adelinasophia
That’s very sweet, thank you
“a little girl in a smocked dress inviting her friends to tea parties for their dolls each weekend.” - I can definitely picture that!
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]…
I would probably call this “everything that’s right about the vintage trend”, or “the vintage trend done right.”
It’s a very lovable name… but also sublime. It’s more than beautiful because it conjures so many images - all positive - which others have described.
I have the same reaction as they do, and I can envision my daughter (I’m ttc) becoming good friends with an [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. Some of the names on my short list are [name_f]Emilie[/name_f]-[name_f]Sara[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and [name_f]Violette[/name_f]. Can’t you just [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilie[/name_f]-[name_f]Sara[/name_f], or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Violette[/name_f] playing together?
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a “namer’s” name. It would easily impress in normal circles as a pretty, stylish name, but to us berries the nuance and magic is obvious and very much appreciated. <3
It’s pretty but [name_f]Margot[/name_f] feels unnecessary. I get that you have a three name thing going but [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is pretty on it’s own.
@anyagreenwich
That’s such a wonderful comment to read, thank you very much! And I can absolutely envision [name_f]Ada[/name_f] playing with “your” girls, picturing [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Violette[/name_f] as I read it made me think of a warm summer’s day in a lovely garden, the two of them trying their new skipping ropes and later having a picnic with their dolls
@wittyusername
I agree that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is lovely on it’s own but as I do two middle names and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a beautiful name that, in my opinion, adds something to the name, I don’t view it as unnecessary.
