Our [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] arrived in a hurry on the 24th of [name_f]May[/name_f] after first keeping us waiting a record 16 days past her due date.
My husband announced that if our first born was a girl she would be [name_f]Ada[/name_f] (after the amazing [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Lovelace) with no discussion or exception he felt so strongly. However, she was a he, our firstborn [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] ([name_m]Lenny[/name_m]).
So when we found out our next was a girl she was destined to be [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. I toyed with the idea of [name_f]Adalie[/name_f] but in the end she’s a ball of spunk and determination and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] suits her.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is after my mother [name_f]Faye[/name_f] who passed away a few years ago. It also honors my grandmother who so wisely chose it for her first baby girl and also passed in 2016.
