I love the name [name]Ada[/name]! I pronounce it like you do - Ay-duh.
I love it, and pronounce it as you do
I think most people would pronounce it Ay-dah like your family does. A friend of mine did a similar poll and quickly found out that this was the case. She preferred the sound [name]Add[/name]-uh, though, so she spelled her daughter’s name [name]Addah[/name].
My friend [name]Ada[/name] pronounces her name as ‘odd-dah’ or like the beginning of [name]Autumn[/name] with the ending ‘dah’.
I pronounce it Ay-da as well. I think it’s the most common pronunciation
No matter when excatly the [name]Ada[/name] to be honored was around, to use her name is a sweet tribute. Plus it’s cute!
I pronounce it AY-duh.
I say “ay-duh” as well.
I say AY-dah, as well, but if it was the Biblical [name]Adah[/name], I would say [name]AH[/name]-dah.
Alright, this problem is resolved. Thanks everyone!
