Sorry for posting again! I just had a pronunciation question for [name]Adair[/name]
Does it start with A as in At. A as in [name]Aidan[/name] or the Ahh sound?

I say it like the “a” in at.

I say uh-DARE- sounds like [name]Fred[/name] Astaire. I quite like it for a boy. I like [name]Alair[/name] for a girl.

This is a family name for us. We pronounce it kind of two different ways… :slight_smile: a-DARE with a long “a” as in [name]Aidan[/name], or more often we end up just saying it more like, uh-DARE. [name]Hope[/name] that makes sence, and is helpful.
