Not names I am using but two biblical boy names you don’t hear very often now…thoughts?
I like [name_m]Adam[/name_m], but [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] doesn’t really appeal to me personally. Both are solid names, but fairly dated in my mind.
I’m not a fan of [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] due to personal associations (also not crazy about the double a at the beginning, but that’s secondary). I do really love [name_m]Adam[/name_m]— I can’t use it, but I love it and think it’s timeless.
I like [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] -but only when pronoucned [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-run (ah like the beginning of apple). It has a nice softness to it.
Adam is quite nice too -it’s my brother’s name and it suits him well
I really like [name_m]Aaron[/name_m], or A-A-[name_m]Ron[/name_m] as some like to say, despite it sounding identical to [name_f]Erin[/name_f] to my ears and my accent lol. [name_m]Adam[/name_m]… meh… sounds so old to me.
I’m in the UK and I always hear [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] as [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-run
I am pretty meh on both. They are fine, classic names, but they do feel a little worn out at this point – I’ve known quite a few of both throughout grade school and college. I don’t really have any negative associations with them, though, so I have nothing against either of them.
I really like both names. Classic yet slightly underused and I feel like they could fit any personality.
I have to disagree - I hear these names all the time. I’ve heard them on people older than me, people my age, and people younger than me. I don’t think they’ve fallen out of use, even though they aren’t quite as popular as they used to be.
Very classic. I hear them very frequently but maybe that’s because I’m Jewish and most of the people I know with those names are Jewish?
