Adaorah/Adorah

What do yout think of the name Adorah? My husband is Nigerian and it is a popular name there and usually spelled Adaorah. We would call her [name]Ada[/name], meaning First daughter in Nigerian. He and his siblings all have american first names and Nigerian middle names. His family/family friends all call them by their nigerian names. I was going to give our baby a nigerian middle name and let them call her that, but I do like this as a first name even.

In america would it be too much like Adorable? or some made up?

I like Adorah! I prefer the spelling [name]Adora[/name] though

I like it too, and [name]Ada[/name] is a great NN! All the spellings are nice, but I agree that [name]Adora[/name] is the most aesthetically pleasing. Very pretty and unique name and nice way to honor your husband’s culture. Best of luck.

I really like it, especially with the Nigerian connection. I prefer the name spelled Adorah because I think pronunciation and spelling errors are more likely with the Adaorah spelling.
