addie or abbie

i cant decide: )-

[name]Addie[/name]!

([name]Will[/name] it be short for [name]Adelaide[/name]?)

I prefer [name]Addie[/name] if it’s for [name]Adelaide[/name] but if [name]Addie[/name] is for [name]Addison[/name], I prefer [name]Abbie[/name] for [name]Abigail[/name].

Ditto. [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adelaide[/name] (or even [name]Adelia[/name] or [name]Adele[/name]), but if it’s short for [name]Addison[/name], I’ll go with [name]Abbie[/name] for [name]Abigail[/name].

Good luck!

I am a nanny for two little sisters. Abegayle and [name]Addison[/name]. I love saying [name]Addie[/name] much better than [name]Abby[/name].

I would go with [name]Addie[/name] for any longer name!

I like [name]Addie[/name]… but [name]Addison[/name] is fastly rising in popularity.
[name]Abbie[/name]… tho I prefer the spelling [name]Abbey[/name]… is a beautiful, timeless, classic name.

I prefer [name]Addie[/name] but I’m biased since it is my name

Ditto. [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adelaide[/name] (or even [name]Adelia[/name] or [name]Adele[/name]), but if it’s short for [name]Addison[/name], I’ll go with [name]Abbie[/name] for [name]Abigal[/name].

Good luck! :-)[/quote]

ditto as well

Ditto. [name]Addie[/name] for [name]Adelaide[/name] (or even [name]Adelia[/name] or [name]Adele[/name]), but if it’s short for [name]Addison[/name], I’ll go with [name]Abbie[/name] for [name]Abigal[/name].

ditto as well[/quote]

Ditto the ditto! But I will add that I love [name]Addie[/name] as a nn for [name]Adeline[/name] as well

[name]Addie[/name], as long as it’s not for [name]Addison[/name] - in which case [name]Abbie[/name] for [name]Abigail[/name].

I asked my hubby and he also said [name]Addie[/name]

I think I like [name]Abby[/name] better. I don’t like the names where [name]Addie[/name] would be a nickname, neither [name]Adelaide[/name] nor [name]Addison[/name], nor anything else that may come up, [name]Adeline[/name], etc., I don’t like the Addle sound, nor [name]Addison[/name] just because it’s so trendy. [name]Addie[/name] is so quaint, I know [name]Abigail[/name] has been pretty popular, but I still prefer it. I guess I’m the odd one out.

I like [name]Addie[/name], and [name]Addison[/name] is a great long version. [name]Abbie[/name] is cute, but I like [name]Addie[/name] better.

[name]Addie[/name]. Is this going to be the nn or the actual name???

[name]Addie[/name]! It’s much rarer than [name]Abbie[/name].
