We’re expecting our second baby, a boy, this [name_f]September[/name_f]. He’ll be joining big sister [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. My husband has vetoed nearly all of my boy name choices, and I have vetoed most of his I tend to like more Victorian-style names, but my husband does not! His first choice is now [name_m]Quentin[/name_m], and while I like (and actually suggested) the name, I’m not sure I’m in love with it. Something is holding me back from fully embracing the name - I’m just not sure what it is. I’d love to get some outside opinions on the name, and how you think it fits with [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. Thanks!
I adore both [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m]. I think they both go very nicely together as a sibling set.
I like it. and i think they go well together. But a few other suggestions (i hope not all of these have been vetoed lol) that go with [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] might be
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m]
[name_m]Edwin[/name_m]/ [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Luther[/name_m]
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
Thanks, Farie! Definitely open to suggestions! I do like some of the names you suggested, but the only one I love ([name_m]Edwin[/name_m]!) has of course been crossed off the list by my husband We can’t use [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] because it’s my father-in-law’s name; we have a cousin named [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]; not a fan of [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Luther[/name_m]; and while I like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], a) it’s too common where we live, and b) we’re hoping to use [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] in the event of a female third child
But I’m glad to hear you like the [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]/[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] combo!
I’m glad to hear it - thanks!!
I think [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] are peferct together, both sound intelligent, sweet and on-trend while still having a vintage vibe.
