We are having our 3rd girl and are debating between [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Addy[/name_f]) or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. The middle names for both are family names.
We have 2 other girls [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] ([name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] are all family names too).
They are both gorgeous, but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] gets my vote.
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would be AAAAAmazing.
I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] both [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and I think both of your combos are wonderful! However, based on big sisters names, [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f], I vote for [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] feels a little too long, and [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_f]Addy[/name_f] is too rhyme-y / repetitive sound for me. [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f] sounds a bit better. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is gorgeous. Also, [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] fits with the older sister pattern of short FN and long MN. If this is probably your last child, then I would stick to this pattern, but if you’re planning on having more, it may be nice to switch it up so you don’t feel too “stuck” with future baby name challenges!
That said, you cannot go wrong! [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] “[name_f]Addy[/name_f]” is a BEAUTIFUL name and I think any little girl would be happy with either name!
p.s. I disagree with previous poster about [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], I definitely prefer [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]!
p.p.s. I love your older daughters names as well!
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I once heard it pronounced [name_f]Claire[/name_f]-uh, which threw me off. I only like it if pronounced Clahr-uh (rhyming with [name_f]Star[/name_f])
I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] feels like a better fit with the big sisters names, as well as being a stunning name. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is a gorgeous name too.
I really like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] matched with [name_f]Clara[/name_f], really nicely balanced.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] would be lovely. I like [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] too, but I tend to get confused about the pronunciation of all the -line names.
