I voted for [name]Asher[/name] for its Biblical roots, its meaning of “happy” and the fact that I like the look and sound of it much more than [name]Adler[/name]. [name]Adler[/name] is just another surname for me (although I like the meaning of “eagle”) and I don’t think it has an attractive sound (it reminds me of a rattler and I loathe snakes! :)).
I voted for [name]Adler[/name]. Although I can appreciate [name]Asher[/name] for its Biblical roots and positive meaning, it doesn’t appeal to me at all. [name]Asher[/name] is one of the Nameberry favorites that I just don’t get.
I like both, but I prefer [name]Asher[/name].
[name]Adler[/name] is a nice option if you want something more unique.
I love [name]Asher[/name] and like the nickname [name]Ash[/name]. Personally I can see using [name]Adler[/name] as a middle name but not as a first.
While I like [name]Asher[/name] I think it’s getting really popular so I vote [name]Adler[/name]! [name]Adler[/name] sounds handsome and spunky. Also, [name]Asher[/name] to me is one of those names that I think only sound good when your boy is a baby, I don’t know how it’ll grow with an adult man.
I like [name]Asher[/name] more, personally, although I like them both. I [name]LOVE[/name] the nn [name]Ash[/name], but I would find it so refreshing to meet a little [name]Adler[/name]! It’s so dashing and handsome and unexpected. 
I voted for [name]Asher[/name]. [name]Adler[/name] reminds me of the word addle.
These are the reasons I chose [name]Asher[/name] and not [name]Adler[/name]!!

I like [name]Asher[/name]. Biblical, nice meaning. [name]Adler[/name] doesn’t really compare [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Adler[/name]. [name]Asher[/name] reminds me of someone who is ashing a cigarette. It’s one of the Nameberry favorites I just can’t get on board with. Although I prefer Alder over [name]Adler[/name].
Much as I love [name]Asher[/name], I’m too much of a [name]Sherlock[/name] [name]Holmes[/name] fan not to vote for [name]Adler[/name]. [name]Irene[/name] [name]Adler[/name] is the consummate lady badass, and she made me absolutely love her names. I also feel like [name]Adler[/name] has a very sophisticated, modern sound. I would love to see it on a boy!
I prefer [name]Asher[/name] of the two but I’d pick Alder over either of them.
