I am a huge name nerd and never thought I would be asking for name help!
Here is my situation. After years of waiting and saving we are finally starting our adoption. We have been married for 11 years and I have a firm list of girls names. In fact we have been referring to our future child by our top girl’s name for years. So I am attached to say the least.
Boys names, not so much. I have a list of boys names and my husband and I disagree for one reason or another. So no attachment has been made. So now that the adoption is actually looming I am of course equating not attaching to a name to fears of not attaching to baby. So help me find some good names!
A little bit more, I am Mexican, my husband is white and baby with be African American. So a name that spans cultural differences is a plus too.
I am wanting something that means something to us and/or our relationship.
Anything with [name_u]California[/name_u] influence and bonus points for San [name_m]Diego[/name_m] connection.
[name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection.
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] connection.
[name_m]Science[/name_m] connection. We are both scientists.
Here is what we have.
Girls
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]- this is our girl and all names have to go with this possible twin or sister.
Runners up- [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
Boy
