hey all! thank you for all the work you do to make this site amazing.
i was wondering about the syllable count option in advanced search – it seems to be pretty erratic and sometimes inaccurate. for example, when i search for one-syllable names starting with e, names like eva and esme pop up, while they don’t appear when i search for two-syllable names. the pronunciation guides for these names even list them as two syllables, but the advanced search function doesn’t categorize them that way.
how does the syllable count option work, and would there be a way to make it more accurate?
