Advice Needed Desperately

I agree with the above, if you change your mind for any reason when you meet baby or feel for any reason uncomfortable about a choice made now in these very emotional circumstances you might feel badly or feel unable to change the name which would be a shame. It is a lovely thing for you and your DH and MIL to name the baby Joy after her and then you can wait and see. Ariana might be the one, it is a lovely name, but it is best not to close the door until you meet baby. I’m sure baby is already bringing great joy to all of your family and I’m sorry you are facing this sad news.

I like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Delia[/name_f].

Thank you all so much ladies. My [name_f]MIL[/name_f] passed this morning. She left the world peacefully and only last night was teasing that she was going to put all her sassiness into our new daughter. Much love to you all for your kind responses.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you and your husband have a good support network, with so many big changes. I think [name_f]Delia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is a perfect choice, and [name_f]Joy[/name_f] especially is right since your [name_f]MIL[/name_f] is now free of pain. I’m envisioning sending healing light your way.
