I’ve gotten [name_f]Anita[/name_f] as a first onto my name list, and I’m trying to find options for combos I like. I’d love more suggestions. Surname starts with S, so an S middle is unfortunately out.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - I love both of these names, and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is a great grandmother.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] - Probably a long shot as I can’t seem to sell DH on [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] despite how much I love it.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - No family connection but really love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Diane[/name_f] - I am only so-so on this one and prefer [name_f]Diana[/name_f] to [name_f]Diane[/name_f], but I’m not sure I like the sound of two names both ending in -a.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Martha[/name_f] - [name_f]Martha[/name_f] is for one of our grandmothers, so I’d love to work it in somehow, but I’m also not sure how I feel about the double -a ending.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] - Why does every name I like end with -a?! [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] is a name I toy around with a lot as a way to honor my mother as she was born in [name_f]Augusta[/name_f]. It’s another long shot that I’m still trying to get DH on board with.
Based on these and my signature, do y’all have any other suggestions? Thanks so much!
I love [name_f]Anita[/name_f]! You have so many great family names to work with, that I’d go with one of those. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if the flow isn’t perfect perfect, I’d say go with one as long as it doesn’t sound awful. I think that [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is fun & unique.
[name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] are awesome. I personally don’t mind your double-a endings!
I love [name_f]Anita[/name_f]! It’s spunky, really underused and the Disney connection is lovely.
My favorite combo is [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], though I’d personally use a middle name that was a bit more “modern” to balance [name_f]Anita[/name_f] out, since it is slightly clunky.
For example, instead of [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Martha[/name_f] I’d suggest [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] etc. Instead of [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] (the one in your signature), I’d suggest [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Viola[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] etc.
