Advice on double first name "Miles Douglas" or "Miles Burke"

We’re at the hospital with our newborn (yay!) and messing with the idea of tweaking his name. We chose [name]Miles[/name] with [name]Douglas[/name] as the middle name. Looks like we may not be able to have more bio kids, so we’re considering incorporating another family name for the middle name, and using the double first name of [name]Miles[/name] [name]Douglas[/name]. Or [name]Miles[/name] [name]Burke[/name] with [name]Douglas[/name] as a middle name. What do you think? From what we read, the annoyance to the name-bearer of a double name is minimal. We’d probably call him [name]Miles[/name] either way.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t do two first names if you need to, two middle names is much better. Good luck and Congrats on [name]Miles[/name], love that name!

[name]Miles[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] [name]Burke[/name] sounds the best.

When I read [name]Miles[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] I immediately thought of [name]Miles[/name] [name]Davis[/name] so that would rule it out as a double first name for me, but [name]Miles[/name] [name]Burke[/name] doesn’t have the best flow… I like the pp’s suggestion of [name]Miles[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] [name]Burke[/name].
