I have just two weeks to go until due date and still undecided on names, so need help!
Our four year old [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Johnny[/name] was nameless for two weeks so want to avoid that happening again with our next little boy. We ended up choosing it after going through bookshelf and [name]Jasper[/name] Fforde is one of my husbands fave authors and we are Brits and [name]Jasper[/name] is an old English name.
Anyway new babys middle name is decided in that we’ve let [name]Jasper[/name] choose whatever he likes for his brother and while it was Garage and then [name]Rocket[/name] (I like that one!) he has now settled on [name]Thomas[/name] (after train).
So it’s the all important first name we need to decide, which is your favourite:
[name]Flynn[/name] (current favourite but keep getting cold feet)
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Elwood[/name]
[name]Pip[/name] (husband loves this I’m a bit nervous)
[name]Milo[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]
Also we like [name]Thomas[/name]-[name]Flynn[/name] but would he just be called [name]Tom[/name] and there are loads of Toms here at the moment.
I was thinking that [name]Milo[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] sounded really great together, but then I realized that the reason why it sounds so familiar is that there is an actress from the 1960’s named [name]Marlo[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] (I’m not quite that old, I watched reruns of her show when I was a child). I’m not sure how well known she would be in your part of the world though.
I like all of your other choices except [name]Atticus[/name]. I think it’s a fab name by itself, but [name]Atticus[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is a bit too rhymey for my tastes, and would probably make it more difficult to say. Overall, I think that if [name]Flynn[/name] is your favorite choice, you should go ahead and use it.
I love [name]Flynn[/name]! [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Flynn[/name] sound great together. I’d use that.

[name]Oliver[/name] (too popular? Too close to [name]Jasper[/name]? But it is lovely and traditional)
[name]Milo[/name] (one of my favorites, sounds great with [name]Jasper[/name])

I still like [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Thomas[/name].
What about [name]Philip[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] nn [name]Pip[/name] or [name]Flip[/name]? [name]Jaspar[/name] and [name]Philip[/name] make a great sibset. My second choices would be [name]Flynn[/name] or [name]Arthur[/name].
[name]Thomas[/name] is very classic, I think its a name that will outlast any trendiness, i’d combine it with [name]Arthur[/name].
[name]Flynn[/name] - This isn’t my style, but I have to say it’s quite a cool name and it goes well with [name]Jasper[/name] and sounds good with [name]Thomas[/name].
[name]Atticus[/name] - Really don’t like this, it’s way too trendy.
[name]Elwood[/name] - really don’'t like this sorry.
[name]Pip[/name] - it’s very sweet as a nn on a little boy, but as a full name on a grown man? Can you imagine the LoR teasing he’ll get at school or a job interviewer seeing [name]Pip[/name] on his application form. If you like [name]Pip[/name] go for [name]Phillip[/name] and let him use it as nn, that way he has the option to use his full name on occassions that require more seriousness.
[name]Milo[/name] - This is a nice enough name.
[name]Arthur[/name] - I really love this and my favourite out of all your choices.
I love that you let [name]Jasper[/name] help choose a middle name. Very wise of him to choose [name]Thomas[/name] over Garage I have to say.
[name]Elwood[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is my favorite combo. I think [name]Elwood[/name] sounds great with [name]Jasper[/name] - it’s not hard to pronounce but definitely different and refreshing.
[name]Flynn[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is my second choice. I love it’s spunky and classic mix. [name]Don[/name]'t get cold feet it’s very handsome.
