What to do when all names have a pro/con? Maybe some distance brings new perspectives? Love input on reasons I might not see already or how to choose! Is there one clear winner?

I like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] best with the others, it just goes. I think it’s because it has an n like all the others, and the unique ending and beginning letter like all the others. Oh, and 2 syllables. Clear winner for me.

I think you have to decide what’s most important to you when it comes to the name - and then weigh up the pros and cons based on that.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you want a name that sounds completely distinctive to the others?

How much does popularity bother you?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you want something more classic or something that feels more on trend atm?

Which name have you loved the longest and would you regret not using it?

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]!

All having different starting and ending letters; but [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] seems to draw on the others’ sounds and letters; [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] ties [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_u]Evan[/name_u] closer together stylistically; all names a little vintage but not self-consciously so. Otherwise [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - which most obviously links to [name_u]Henry[/name_u] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].

At end of day though, pick for the individual child and not for “perfect” sibset - you child will spend most of his life as an individual and most people in his life won’t care about whether his name is cohesive with his siblings. It’s really for name nerds that we insist on sets being complementary. So go with fave name on its own terms first!
