I highly recommend skipping the first labor/birth and going straight to the second. It is so, so much easier.

Completely normal, boring, easy labor. Easy delivery. No complications. Home in 24h. All in sharp contrast to the first.
Oh how I hope that is true! I am scared to death of another birth/c-section.

I wonder what will happen when I have my second if it just gets easier? My water broke at 8 in the morning, I was fully dilated at around 3:45 and she was out by 4:30. No C-section, full vaginal delivery, very minimal tears, I was walking around a few hours later and was home by 5 the next day. I only took like, 4 of the pain pills they gave me. The only problem with mine was that she rolled weirdly and pressed her face into the wall and so I needed to lay on my left side the whole time until I pushed and needed some oxygen for a while. She almost came out before the doctor could even get in the room, they had to make me stop pushing for about 15 minutes to wait on him and so her head was a little weird.
Now Iâm actually sort of worried the next one will be worse O_O
Iâve been hoping the next one would be easier, kind of fixated on it lately, so thatâs great to hear! Congratulations, again.

After I had [name_f]Jade[/name_f], I was sore for what seemed forever. I had to sit on my boppy pillow so my bottom wouldnât hurt. My syitches burned every time I peed. It was torture. When I had [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], I expected more of the same⌠not so. I had zero pain. Didnât even take a sungle pain pill.
Congrats, wait til you get to the 4th, itâs a breeze.
I hope this is true! I had a text book, three hour, vaginal birth with no pain relief with [name_f]Annie[/name_f], and Iâm haunted by how freaking awful it was - the pain was off the charts. I still canât get on board with ever going through that again.

PS My birth experience was pretty awful, two kids, bowel obstructions whilst pregnant with both, but so pleased to hear of all the âboringâ births that makes life a breeze.

I had a very difficult emergency c-section with my son, and a scheduled c-section with my daughter, so it is nice to hear you had an easy delivery the second time around!
[name_m]Blade[/name_m], have to echo that you have been missed! I was worried something happened to your baby, so I was so relieved when I saw your birth announcement.
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] your birth went well but I am so jealous. I was so hoping for an easier, vaginal birth the second time around. It sucked, but slightly less than the first (I only labored for 22 hours instead of 36+ before having the c-section). I will say that after doing that twice, the third birth (if DH forgets how horrible this last pregnancy was), will be much easier because it will be a scheduled section after a good nights sleep and a shower (and a touch of makeup and a blow dry).
I waited until my 5th baby (4th vaginal birth) to go natural. Definitely felt like I was cheating since labor was so short.
