After great grandpa

My Great Grandfathers name was [name]Mille[/name] [name]Charlie[/name] who always went by [name]Charlie[/name]. I’ve been loving the idea of using [name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] as a combination to honour him. There aren’t many longer variants of [name]Millie[/name] I like and none that I really live enough to use. The only other possibility would be [name]Amelia[/name] ‘[name]Millie[/name]’ [name]Charlotte[/name]. What are your thoughts?

[name]Millie[/name] is fine on its own, although I do prefer [name]Amelia[/name]/[name]Emilia[/name]/[name]Emily[/name], [name]Melisende[/name] or [name]Melissa[/name] as a full form. And [name]Charlotte[/name] just rubs me the wrong way, but it is a gorgeous in its own right as a strong, classic name. The combo works fine.

If you would like more unusual ways to honor [name]Charlie[/name], than [name]Carlotta[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Francesca[/name] (means same thing) can work as middles or even firsts.

I think [name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a beautiful way to honour your great grandfather! I’d prefer [name]Amelia[/name] since I don’t like nickname names, but [name]Millie[/name] could be okay on its own.

I would prefer [name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] over [name]Amelia[/name] because I just don’t like [name]Amelia[/name] at all. I think nicknames are great personally

[name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be a great way to honor your great-grandfather. I think [name]Millie[/name] stands fine on its own. It’s only one letter off from the mega popular [name]Lily[/name] (and all variant spellings), and that helps.

[name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a really cool way to honor [name]Mille[/name] [name]Charlie[/name]! [name]Amelia[/name] is alright, but I think [name]Milena[/name] would be cooler; it even has a nicer, sweeter meaning than “work”. [name]Millie[/name] by itself is really cool too!

[name]Millie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is adorable and a wonderful way to honor your great grandfather.

I really like the name [name]Amelia[/name], but in this case I think [name]Millie[/name] sounds better and has more personality.
