My dear husband and I have been trying to conceive for some time now, and after a couple years and a little help, it is finally our turn, to become mommy and daddy, to not just one, but 2 little ones!
So excited!
So we have twins on the way, not going to find out genders, so we need four names that interchange well!
We love bible names, names of the God’s and names that pack a punch for little boys…and we love too many names at that…[name_m]How[/name_m] will find the right one?
Here is a few names we like…
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] is possible our favorite, but is it too popular?
Also love [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]…especially with the nn potential [name_m]Thor[/name_m], [name_m]Hawk[/name_m], [name_m]Thorn[/name_m]… ([name_m]Thor[/name_m] is quite possible the best, can it be a stand alone name?)
Finnick
[name_m]Titus[/name_m]
[name_m]Leviticus[/name_m] ([name_m]Levi[/name_m])
[name_u]Puck[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_m]Zedekiah[/name_m]
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
Girls are easier…we have just a few we absolutely love…
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f]
Achaia
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Mable[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelyn[/name_f]? [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]? [name_u]Addyson[/name_u]?
[name_m]Killian[/name_m]
[name_f]Lilian[/name_f]
What do you think? Names we may like? Combo ideas?
Middles?
From your list I really like [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m], [name_m]Titus[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], & [name_f]Lilian[/name_f].
Using your names, I would make these sibsets:
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_m]Titus[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]Zane[/name_m] (or [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u])
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] ([name_f]May[/name_f]-bell) and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Lilian[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (or [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], I just like [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]) and [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] [name_f]Mable[/name_f] (would much prefer [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]- may-bell)
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Lilian[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilian[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_m]Titus[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
I’ll suggest [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]/[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f]/[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]/[name_f]Coraline[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] (can be pronounce [name_m]Add[/name_m]-uh-leen, [name_m]Add[/name_m]-uh-lien, or [name_m]Add[/name_m]-uh-lyn, I just love this spelling). [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] (can be pronounced [name_u]Cass[/name_u]-ee-us or cash-us), [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]/[name_m]Augusten[/name_m]/[name_m]Augustine[/name_m]/[name_u]August[/name_u], [name_m]Bruno[/name_m], [name_m]Thorin[/name_m].
I don’t care for Finnick (modern literary invention), [name_m]Titus[/name_m] (too much teasing potential) or [name_u]Puck[/name_u] (rhymes with the F-word and it’s a small black thing that is used in hockey. I’m Canadian. :)).
Boy/Boy
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] & [name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] & [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_m]Zedekiah[/name_m] & [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] (I personally think that [name_m]Thor[/name_m] might be a bit too much for a boy to live up to, but I like it as a nn) (possibly my favourite)
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] & [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
Finnick & [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_m]Titus[/name_m] & [name_u]Puck[/name_u]
[name_m]Leviticus[/name_m] ([name_m]Levi[/name_m]) & [name_m]Zedekiah[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] & [name_m]Levi[/name_m] (possibly my favourite)
Girl/Girl
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] & [name_f]Lilian[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (I think my favourite)
[name_f]Lilian[/name_f] & [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
Some suggestions
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f] or just [name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
I love [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite combos of these four:
Boy/Boy
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] (obviously)
Girl/Girl
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (also obviously)
Boy/Girl
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
or
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
or
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (don’t like this one as much)
I don’t like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]
I don’t think [name_m]Liam[/name_m] is too popular - at least, I’ve never met a boy of any age called [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
Names I love from your list:
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] (purely because [name_m]Thor[/name_m] would be the greatest nickname ever)
Finnick
[name_m]Titus[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
I also like [name_u]Puck[/name_u] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
As for [name_m]Leviticus[/name_m], I think in this day and age, it might be a little too heavy (and controversial) for a little boy to carry. [name_m]Levi[/name_m] would work and still have that a biblical connection because it was also [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] the apostles name.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and Finnick or [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and [name_m]Titus[/name_m] would be awesome combinations.
From your girls list I love [name_f]Aria[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].
Have you considered [name_f]Emme[/name_f]/[name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] (another biblical connection?) or [name_f]Ariana[/name_f]?
[name_m]Liam[/name_m] seems quite popular compared to the rest of the names you’ve listed, although it is a good, strong name. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] would work very well together because they are both Irish names. Perhaps [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Declan[/name_m] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u] would interest you? I like [name_m]Zane[/name_m], [name_m]Titus[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] from the rest of the list. [name_m]Leviticus[/name_m] and [name_m]Zedekiah[/name_m] seem a little too much compared to your girl’s name list so I’d leave those out for now.
I think [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] would work best as a middle name. I actually think [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is perfect!
As for girl names I find [name_f]Etta[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] so adorable but I’d loose the hyphen personally. You can still call her [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] without having the hyphen there. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] are very similar and of the two I prefer [name_f]Etta[/name_f]. However, I could imagine [name_f]Emma[/name_f] with both [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u].
I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is so sweet but not with the spelling [name_f]Mable[/name_f]. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] would be adorable sisters!
I don’t think [name_f]Aria[/name_f], Achaia, [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f], [name_m]Killian[/name_m] or [name_u]Addyson[/name_u] as they seem very trendy/masculine.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] are both gorgeous too.
So from the names you’ve listed my favourites are; [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_m]Titus[/name_m], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].
