Age at first kid?

I’m currently 15 but I’ll be 16 in [name_u]October[/name_u] and my twins are due in [name_u]December[/name_u] so I’ll be 16 when they’re born and my boyfriend will also be 16

The first child is 5

I want to be 24 or 25, because I want to finish school and go to college and then get married before kids, I think that’s a good time

Ideally I would like to start trying at 24. Realistically I don’t know because I’m pretty close to that age and don’t even have a relationship yet.

Yes!! I am a bit saddened to see all the worry here about having children later! The 30s are a great time to have kids if it means one is happier, healthier, more stable…having had time to establish a well-rounded life and identity. There is also data showing that older first-time parents are happier! With a stronger and longer-lasting happiness boost after the birth of a child: People who have their kids after 35 are happiest
But whatever feels right to you is great!

I was 30 when I had my first kid

It must be very difficult to be having twins at barely 16! I’m 17 and I couldn’t imagine having to be pregnant yet, let alone with twins. I hope it goes well!

I replied to this thread back in [name_u]March[/name_u] saying I’ve been trying for 3 years but now today I am 30 weeks pregnant! I am due [name_u]February[/name_u] 21 and my birthday is the 24 so I will either be 30 or 31 lol

I had my daughter at 16! She was an accident but not a bad one. She’s 3 now, me and her dad are still together luckily.

I was 21 when I had my son. I am now 35. I would like to have another one soon, but we will see.

How awesome is this! Congrats. [name_f]My[/name_f] son’s birthday is also [name_u]February[/name_u] 24th.

I can somewhat speak to this! I don’t know if it’s purely our of survival, but I have been forced to keep on my toes with each subsequent pregnancy. I have little ones, close together (4 under 5) and I’m still able to run up a flight of stairs carrying my 1 yo, at 31 weeks.

Not judging or bragging, just informing. I definitely have those days of mommy can’t keep her eyes open to read a story! These are tough days! Someone once told me that “having kids as an older mom keeps you young” and I am believing that with every ounce of my strength! haha

Hoping to start IVF in my late twenties or early thirties!

I was planning on starting around 30, but I will be either 27 or 28 depending on when he comes (he is due the day before my birthday)

:sparkles: Manifesting :sparkles: 30-32 for my first. 26 now and painfully single, but just got the all clear for my fertility after having ovarian cysts, endometriomas and stage 3 endo removed last [name_m]Friday[/name_m]. I’m all ready to go, just need to find my children’s’ father :joy:
