I voted for [name]Agatha[/name], but it’s a real toss up! [name]Agatha[/name] is softer and therefore slightly prettier. I fell for [name]Agnes[/name] after watching the adorable little orphan in Despicable Me.
[name]Agnes[/name] is a family name for me, so I love it – pronounced [name]Ag[/name]-ness. I also love the Polish version Agnieszka (prn. ahg-nyesh-ka – at least that’s the best I can describe the prn), but that could also be because of my family connection. I’m not a fan of [name]Agatha[/name] at all. It sounds harder and colder to me for some reason.
I think both are very pretty. [name]Agatha[/name] over [name]Agnes[/name] because I think it has more feminity and might be recieved better in the current day and age wher I live…but [name]Agnes[/name] is still beautiful.
[name]Both[/name] lovely, but I slightly prefer [name]Agatha[/name]. I just think its more accessible if that makes sense, and I like the repitition of A. [name]Aggie[/name] is the sweetest NN.
[name]Agatha[/name] is so pretty, feminine and quaint. It’s also much lighter and softer than [name]Agnes[/name].
I have always had this debate. I’ve always loved them both but don’t want to use both in my top 12. I used to always prefer [name]Agatha[/name], then [name]Agnes[/name], then [name]Agatha[/name] and at the moment it’s [name]Agnes[/name]. 
I only slightly prefer [name]Agnes[/name] over [name]Agatha[/name]. I think it’s simply because I generally prefer names with fewer syllables. This seems to be one of those cases.
I like the softer sound of [name]Agnes[/name]. Also love the french and spanish [name]Ines[/name].
I like agatha… it feels stronger. And when i picture a girl being called by friends in a hallway at school, [name]AGNES[/name]! seems to be weak… but [name]AG[/name]-A-THA! it doesn’t fade away…
I like [name]Agnes[/name] because it feels so sweet, whereas [name]Agatha[/name] still feels a bit frumpy to me. But as a PP mentioned… my favourite is the Polish version Agnieszka!
