It is pronounced Eye - lee. What do you think? A boy at my school’s little sister is named this. I think it is spelled ailey, but I’m not sure. I just know it starts with an A. Let me know!

I agree Eilley is better but I love the sound of the name. Spelling Ailey is confusing - could b eye-lee or a-lee ([name]Hailey[/name] without the h).
I’d say Eilley is confusing. The double L makes me want to say a short I as in [name]Lily[/name], but the EI makes that impossible. Not surprising; Irish pronunciations rarely make sense in English. I’d have no doubts about pronouncing Ailey (or Eiley with one L).
I think that Ailey a reasonable spelling of Eye-lee. It could also be Islee or Isley or Islae like [name]Isla[/name]. Think i prefer Ailey though xx
