[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! we just found out we’re having a girl!! Before we found out, we decided two girl names because we got stuck and a boy name. We already have a a [name_m]Xander[/name_m] (4 years old) and if she was a boy, she would be [name_m]Hector[/name_m], but she’s not and we don’t know if we should name her [name_f]Davina[/name_f] (got that from that TV show, loved the name, loved the character and my husband also loved it) or [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] (we thought about [name_f]Amy[/name_f], but [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] has such a beautiful spelling). Anyway, both mean beloved, I don’t think they need nicknames, both sound strong and feminine (at least for me they do) and I thought about asking for help, my husband wants us to use both and I don’t think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] or [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] [name_f]Davina[/name_f] sound or look good at all. Our last name is [name_f]Sommers[/name_f], what do you think?
Hmm they are very different. I think [name_f]Davina[/name_f] is more interesting, and I like the look of [name_m]Xander[/name_m] and [name_f]Davina[/name_f] together. But [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] is sweet, simple, and sounds cute with your last name. I think in the end my vote goes to [name_f]Davina[/name_f]… I think she has more depth… cute while also being a bit romantic and mysterious. Good luck!

[name_f]Amy[/name_f], but only with this spelling.
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] is sweet, and by no means a bad option, but it feels small and shallow compared to [name_f]Davina[/name_f]. [name_f]Davina[/name_f] and [name_m]Xander[/name_m] go so well together, and it’s unique without having a tricky spelling or pronunciation. That makes it seem like such a gem, especially if you both agree on it.
My vote’s for [name_f]Davina[/name_f]! So much more interesting than [name_f]Aimee[/name_f].
I much prefer [name_f]Davina[/name_f]! Not a fan of [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] at all.
