Aizen Blaze for our son?

My husband & I have fallen in love with the name Aizen [name]Blaze[/name] for our son. This is our last child and we would like a strong, yet unusual, boy name. Please let me know if you think this name fits those requirements. If not, please let me know your opinion as well as any suggestions.

Aizen Blaze does not fit in with your other children’s names at all. Aizen Blaze sounds like “amazin’ blaze”… What about these?

I see you have a daughter (??) named [name]Jaden[/name]. [name]Jaden[/name] and Aizen? Really?

Yes, I have twin daughters named [name]Emerson[/name] and [name]Jaden[/name]. And yes, we love the name Aizen as well. We are not sold on the middle name of [name]Blaze[/name] that is why I am asking for suggestions. I appreciate your honesty and questioning my sanity though.

I don’t much care for Aizen, but if your heart is really set on it, I would choose another mn. Aizen [name]Blaze[/name] sounds a little like a comic book character. Your other boys seem to have biblical middles, how about something like Aizen [name]Elijah[/name], Aizen [name]Samuel[/name], or Aizen [name]Joseph[/name]?

To be honest I really don’t like the name, it’s far too close to your daughter [name]Jaden[/name]'s name and it very trendy sounding. I like your boy’s names but Aizen just doesn’t fit at all, plus they have biblical, classic boy’s names as middle names.

[name]How[/name] about…
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Ashton[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Bradley[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Camden[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Declan[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Dexter[/name]

[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Pierce[/name]

[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Silas[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Spencer[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Tristan[/name]

I really really dislike this name!!! especially with [name]Jaden[/name]…it sounds made up and I just hate the sound

I don’t like it, sorry. It sounds so harsh.

I also think [name]Jaden[/name] and Aizen sound too alike. What about [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Finn[/name] or [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Phoenix[/name], [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Archer[/name], [name]Asa[/name] (nn [name]Ace[/name]?), [name]Axton[/name], [name]Roman[/name], [name]Ripley[/name], [name]Lennox[/name], Bingley (nn [name]Bing[/name]), or Syler?

You said you were loOking for a strong name. Aizen [name]Blaze[/name] is more silly than strong…and sounds like “[name]Asian[/name]” to me.

My issue is that if you add an “n” on to [name]Blaze[/name] the first and middle name rhyme. Aizen Blazen would really bug me.
What about [name]Alaric[/name]? Or maybe [name]Blaine[/name], [name]Ace[/name], [name]Alisdair[/name]?

I think you need a strong male name to go with your sons [name]Hunter[/name] & [name]Malachi[/name]! Aizen just doesn’t cut it and I’ve never even heard of it before!
Here are some suggestions for strong male names:
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Issac[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Brooks[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Hudson[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Preston[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Kingston[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Aiden[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Austin[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Ashton[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Elijah[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Asher[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Nolan[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Lander[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Hunter[/name], [name]Malachi[/name] & [name]Dayton[/name]

[name]How[/name] are you pronouncing Aizen? In Japanese it’s EYE-zen. Are you saying it like [name]Aden[/name] with a z instead of a d?

I really think it is terrible. Sorry.

Not sure I like Aizen for a boy in general (sounds kind of feminine, just imo) but definitely the Z thing going on with Aizen [name]Blaze[/name] doesn’t really work for me. Aizen with something else maybe, like Aizen [name]Spencer[/name] or some of the other suggestions (but not something that ends in “on” or “en” imo because Aizen has a really strong ending like that, and it’s very repetitive).

[name]Asher[/name], [name]Archer[/name] or [name]Ace[/name] are better substitues.

At first glance I read it as Aizen Blazen

Since the girls have masculine names the boy needs an even more masculine name to differentiate himself
Why not make [name]Blaise[/name] the first name?

I’m also wondering how you mean to pronounce it: I really like it if you pronounce it EYE-zen, but I truly dislike it if you pronounce it Ay-zen, esp. With [name]Blaze[/name]. Agree with the previous poster who said it sounds more silly than strong.

I think the reason so many people here dislike it is that it sounds like a variatin of the (perceived) over-used [name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Jayden[/name]/[name]Brayden[/name] etc. trend mixed with the Z trend. Whereas all your other children seem to have classical names, so that makes Aizen seem lightweight abd fleeting, rather than strong and lasting.

But Aizen (eye-zen) [name]Blaise[/name] is very nice, as is the suggestions of biblical middle names like [name]Samuel[/name] or [name]Noah[/name]

Let me preface by saying I only had 4 1/2 hrs sleep, so I am a bit tired.
I read it first as [name]Aidan[/name] [name]Blaze[/name]. I suspect many people may simply misread or misremember it as [name]Aidan[/name]- which could be very annoying.
I agree that it might also be confusing calling out to your children as [name]Jaden[/name] and Aizen could blend in a little.

I think the middle name should be changed…sounds like it clashes too much. Aizen [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] sounds really cool I think!
