Alastair Magnus - opinions?

I was wondering if people liked this combination, if it works etc

I like Magnus especially but have no family or heritage ties to it, which makes me wonder whether I should use it!

Thanks for any insight

I think it’s great. I’ve always liked the name [name_m]Alastair[/name_m]. I don’t see why you couldn’t use [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] when Scandinavians use names like [name_u]Liam[/name_u] and [name_m]Kevin[/name_m].

I like this combination. I think it works.

I don’t see a problem with you not having ties to this name, unless having those ties with a name is important to you

Very handsome, it feels like the name of a prince in a fantasy novel, while still being totally useable on a real human! Also I don’t think [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is a name you can only use if you have Scandinavian heritage, neither of the 2 people I know by the name [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] are of Scandinavian heritage.
