Alastor and Alasdair.

[i][name]Hi[/name] all! [name]Alasdair[/name]'s been a favourite of mine for a while.
I’ve been liking Alastor more and more lately. I pronounce them quite similar with barely any noticeable difference.
So I was wondering, how do you pronounce them?
I have [name]Alasdair[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Fox[/name]/Foxx on my list, and was also wondering if Alastor [name]William[/name] [name]Fox[/name]/Foxx sounds and looks okay?

Thanks in advance.

I pronounce [name]Alasdair[/name] as alis-dair and Alastor as alas-ter. Pretty much how they look. I prefer Alastor as it’s a Greek spelling(according to my own sources, you might have others) and because the pronunciation is the most intuitive with this spelling.

I love Alastor [name]William[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. It’s very handsome.

I prefer [name]Alasdair[/name]. [name]Alasdair[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Fox[/name] is amazing!

I prefer the Sccottish spelling- [name]Alasdair[/name]. [name]Alasdair[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Fox[/name] is just fantastic- swoon worthy!

Best wishes!
