I found the names Alator and Albiorix on Pinterest while searching for some other names. I was intrigued. Naturally I searched for more information on the Internet and here are my findings:
- Alator is a Celtic God and is equated with Mars. It was also the name of a character in the BBC series Merlin.
- Albiorix is the name of one of Saturnās moons and a Celtic theonym that appears as an epithet of the Roman Mars.
What do you think of them? Do you have any other information on them?
Both are great! Personally I prefer Alator, as Albiorix is cool but feels more like a fantasy character than a real personās name to me.
I donāt have any more information, but I do find that -tor ending interesting, especially being equated with [name_u]Mars[/name_u], because I think of most -tor names being occupational names (or just occupations) from Latin like aviator, [name_m]Viator[/name_m], director, actor, etc. I would definitely have guessed it was Latin if you hadnāt included that it is a Celtic godās name.

I knew it sounded familiar
Alator is pretty cool, though I find Albiorix a bit of a mouthful

Alator reminds me of realtor and Albiorix sounds like an exotic animal, like an okapi-oryx cross.
But Iād still rather meet people with these names than [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u].
