[name_u]Berti[/name_u] is very cute. I like [name_f]Bertille[/name_f], but would worry that everyone would pronounce it as ber-[name_m]TILL[/name_m] or ber-[name_m]TEEL[/name_m]. Unless you’re in [name_f]France[/name_f]/Belgium/Switzerland etc then it wouldn’t be a problem! I also like [name_f]Albertine[/name_f], which would probably have less problems pronunciation wise outside of mainland Europe.
I liked [name_f]Albertine[/name_f] the best, and I agree that [name_f]Bertille[/name_f] would have major pronunciation problems, although it’s really cute. Have you considered [name_f]Albertina[/name_f]? I really like [name_u]Berti[/name_u] as a nn for either
Or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] which can also be a [name_u]Berti[/name_u]/[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]
Exactly! I know how frustrating it can be forever explaining your name which is unfortunate as I really like [name_f]Bertille[/name_f]
I haven’t considered [name_f]Albertina[/name_f]. Not really fond of ‘tina’ ending names - except [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] which is beautiful. Thank you for suggesting it.
I voted [name_f]Bertille[/name_f] assuming you were in a [name_m]French[/name_m] speaking community.
Otherwise I would have said [name_f]Albertine[/name_f] (love both by the way!)
