Thoughts on [name]Alcyone[/name]? Is it usable? I’d probably use the nickname [name]Allie[/name] occasionally.

I love [name]Alcyone[/name], she’s in and out of my list constantly. I think it’s the most beautiful name, reminds me of the fresh air by the seaside and azure and gold. I think it’s usable, but most people have told me they have no idea how to pronounce it. So I’m undecided on whether I’ll use it in the first spot, or for one of the middles.
I worry about the pronunciation too 
It is indisputably gorgeous, but the pronunciation is a bear. The name has been transmuted into English as [name]Halcyon[/name], which is just as beautiful and much more accessible. Would you be interested in it?
[name]Alcyone[/name] is gorgeous but only when pronounced properly. In Greek, it would be al-key-oh-nee. I love it and it’s so lyrical, but I doubt most people will be able to say it properly.
I do really like blade’s suggestion of [name]Halcyon[/name] as it’s still very pretty and probably closer to how you’ve been saying it or how other people will say it.
I prefer [name]Halcyon[/name], but [name]Alcyone[/name] is absolutely gorgeous as well.
