Alecsys

Has anyone ever seen [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] spelled Alecsys?

I saw it online today and immediately felt it might be the worst case of kree8ive spelling I had ever seen… then I wondered if maybe they had deliberately misspelled it online to try to protect their child’s privacy…

What do y’all think?

Oh…oh my.

I wouldn’t use it myself, but I actually don’t dislike this that much! As far as creative spellings go, the pronunciation for this one is very intuitive – I sounded it out and knew what it was supposed to be. Plus there aren’t tons of unnecessary letters. I kind of like the sci-fi vibe I get from it, too.

Kind of looks like the name of an eye condition

It’s kind of hard to look at, but still better than K8lyn. Of course that doesn’t say much…

No, never seen.
Wish it had stayed that way…
Kidding!

No, really… It’s terrible.

I both love and hate it. It does follow old world spelling rules…its more on the pretentious side of Kr38tiv but…let chaos reign supreme.

It’s definitely not my style personally. Not something I would ever use. But I’ve come to realize if everybody liked the same type of name as me, my names wouldn’t feel as special and personal. So I can appreciate the fact that they found something they liked and acknowledge and appreciate they probably would never choose the names I love.

It doesn’t have the coolness of [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] imo, but to each their own

It’s a bit of a doozy but it’s probably their real name. I mean it is phonetically correct so at least it’ll probably be read correctly. And the more I look at it the less weird it is to my brain lol.

this is definitely how I feel! [name_m]Even[/name_m] if every name isn’t my style, I have gotten to the point where I can appreciate and understand the appeal of every name I have come across, with exceptions only if the name is offensive.
