Hey everyone! I just recently came across a couple names and needed some opinions on them as I’ve never really met anyone with them…
First is [name_f]Aleena[/name_f], [name_f]Alena[/name_f], [name_f]Alina[/name_f]:
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce this and which spelling do you prefer?
Second is Alynn, Ailynn
Is it too different?? And is it too close to [name_m]Alan[/name_m]? (This one is supposed to be pronounced Ay-lin)
I really like [name_f]Alina[/name_f]!
I pronounce it uh-lee-[name_m]Nuh[/name_m]. I would wonder if [name_f]Alena[/name_f] was pronounced the same as above or like [name_f]Elaina[/name_f]; neither would surprise me, I would just be unsure.
I would pronounce Alynn like [name_m]Alan[/name_m]. It might be ok spelled [name_f]Aylin[/name_f] if you want that pronunciation. It’s not my taste, but [name_f]Aylin[/name_f] isn’t too dissimilar to [name_f]Ayla[/name_f].
I love, love the name [name_f]Alena[/name_f]/[name_f]Alina[/name_f]! I know one [name_f]Alena[/name_f] who pronounces it Uh-lay-nuh, and another who pronounces it uh-lee-nuh. Then I know two Alinas, who both pronounce it uh-lee-nuh.
Thanks everyone for posting! I didn’t think of actually spelling it [name_f]Aylin[/name_f]. Haha. But I’m with y’all I think I like [name_f]Alina[/name_f] more. I just wonder if anyone would pronounce it ah-line-uh??
