Which name is better?

We have 2 boys already: caleb and nathaniel

This is our last and a girl :sparkling_heart:

I personally adore the name [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]! I think it’s gorgeous, and fits perfectly with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]. I’m not keen on [name_f]Amara[/name_f] at all.

I definitely prefer [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. I’ve never cared for [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]/[name_u]Alexis[/name_u]/[name_u]Lexi[/name_u]/etc… (although I do like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]). There’s something very beautiful and enchanting about [name_f]Amara[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. I never liked [name_f]Alexa[/name_f], [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], [name_u]Lexi[/name_u], etc.

I like [name_f]Amara[/name_f] better. Not a big fan of [name_f]Alexa[/name_f], [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexi[/name_u]. I do like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].

Definitely [name_f]Amara[/name_f]! I know so many Alexas and they’re all in their twenties and thirties, so it feels like an older name to me. [name_f]Amara[/name_f] is more unusual but just as easy to say.

In contrast to what a PP mentioned, [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] sounds like a perpetually young name to me. I see [name_f]Amara[/name_f] aging much better, and it sounds more elegant imo.

I love both, and have done for a couple years now…
I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice, I think they both fit in well with your boys names.

If I had to choose, I would go with [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] is pretty but [name_f]Amara[/name_f] feels more unusual and a bit exotic. Not sure if you have seen ads for the Amazon device called [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]–possible it could be like the name [name_f]Siri[/name_f] in a few years.

[name_f]Amara[/name_f]! I think [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and [name_f]Amara[/name_f] are fantastic together.

Another vote for [name_f]Amara[/name_f]; so lovely, and unusual without reaching too far. To me a little [name_f]Amara[/name_f] could be any age, whereas [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] feels worn and tired. I’ve known many Alexas growing up. There’s nothing wrong with the name if it’s what you love, of course, but it feels dated compared to [name_f]Amara[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] best but I can see both fitting well with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m].
