Alexander or Oscar?

Hello nameberries… I just did one of these last week, but I’ve been turning the name Alexander over in my head since then. I love it, and I’ve always loved it as the middle for Oscar, but recently I’ve been thinking about it as a first.

It’s very uncommon where I live, I’ve only ever heard about an Alexander, I never met him, and I’ve never heard an Oscar. I just can’t seem to figure out which combo I like! Oscar Alexander or Alexander Oscar - Which is your favourite?

Just for some context - I also love the regency/bridgerton era names. If I did name my son Alexander/Oscar, some sibling name ideas would be Sebastian Peter, Henry Theodore, Clara June, Vivienne Rose, Georgiana Pearl, Leo Peregrine and Frederick James.

I love [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but if you’re going for regency era vibes I’d say [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]! [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] feels a bit too common to have a vibe like that, while [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] still has that charmingly old-fashioned feel to me regardless of its recent surge in popularity. I personally like [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] more but like [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] more for you!

I like [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] a bit more than [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] :white_heart:[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is a very charming combo :sparkles:

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is so handsome
