Alexandra, Cassandra, Samantha, and?

Hey!

I’m currently writing a short story about 4 sisters, who are wild and rebellious but completely loyal to one another. I have names for three of them, but I can’t decide on the perfect name for the fourth sibling!

The elder 3 are:

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ([name_u]Allie[/name_u])
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] ([name_f]Cassie[/name_f])
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] ([name_u]Sam[/name_u])

Last name is Ossington.

I’ve considered [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] ([name_f]Katie[/name_f]/[name_f]Kat[/name_f]) and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Ellie[/name_f]/[name_f]Beth[/name_f]) but they don’t seem right to me.

Thanks!!!

Maybe [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]? It’s kind of the same feel I think and it works especially well if she’s supposed to be the most rebellious of the group. Btw, could you do me a favor and check out my threads?

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] — “[name_f]Tori[/name_f]” or “[name_u]Vic[/name_u]”
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] — “[name_u]Dell[/name_u]” or “[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] — “[name_u]Gabby[/name_u]” or “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]”
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] — “[name_f]Annie[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]”
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] — “[name_u]Jules[/name_u]”
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] — “[name_u]Jules[/name_u]”
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] — “[name_u]Jo[/name_u]” or “[name_u]Josie[/name_u]”
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] — “[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]” or “[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] — “[name_f]Vivi[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Lettie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] — “[name_f]Addy[/name_f]” or “Lady”

I hope these help! Good luck

Thank you! And, of course!

[name_f]Rosalinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Melisande[/name_f]
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]

I hope I could help you

Thank you!

Since [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] have matching -dra endings, maybe another -tha name to match with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] would work: [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Amarantha[/name_f], [name_f]Jacintha[/name_f]… Except those names all feel too unusual. On second thought, Tabitha was surprisingly popular (Top 200) in the 1980s, so she might be a good fit for the sibset, depending on how old she’s supposed to be.

The sisters also all have three syllable names with -an as the middle syllable, which might be easier to work with: [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], [name_f]Bethany[/name_f], [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f].

Roughly when was she born? If she is an 80s baby, then [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] or [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] would seem like the best fit to me. [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] could work for either late 80s or early 90s, while [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] and [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] feel less tied to a certain era so would work for almost any birth year. Personally, I like [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] and [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] the best of those options anyway. [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] is similar to the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] you were considering before and shares a -th with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], even if not in the same spot, and [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] almost has the -dra sound of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] but has a boyish nickname ([name_u]Randy[/name_u], although you could also use [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_f]Manda[/name_f], or [name_f]Manda[/name_f]) like [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] ([name_u]Sam[/name_u]).

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] “[name_f]Vicky[/name_f]/[name_f]Tori[/name_f]”

[name_f]Amanda[/name_f] “[name_u]Mandy[/name_u]”

[name_f]Camilla[/name_f]

[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]

[name_f]Selena[/name_f]

[name_f]Karina[/name_f]/ [name_f]Carina[/name_f]

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]

[name_f]Vera[/name_f]

[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] came to mind.

Thanks so much guys! I have decided on [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], with the nickname [name_f]Tabby[/name_f]. I think it suits her character very well. Again, thanks to all of you so much!!!
