Thoughts? And, also, what about [name_m]Fritz[/name_m]?
For me [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] would be too closely related to [name_m]Alf[/name_m] (the TV show)
For me [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] has a total old/middle-aged men touch because here in [name_f]Austria[/name_f] only old or middle-aged men have that name but I guess in other countries the name is not associated with old men
I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]. I think it’s sweet, but it would fit a baby and an adult. [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] though, I don’t like that one as much.
I dislike [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] as first names. For me they should either be nicknames, or maybe a middle.
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m] nn [name_u]Alfie[/name_u], or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] nn [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] are great.
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] is one of those cutesy nicknames that’s popular in [name_f]England[/name_f], but i don’t think would come off well in the US - and [name_m]Fritz[/name_m] has a similar vibe. Very knickers-and-marbles, [name_m]Little[/name_m] Rascals kind of stuff, kwim?
Idk, for me [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Law[/name_m] brought this name back. I love the name.
However, I remember someone suggested [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] nn [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] on another thread. Maybe you may like that if you get negative feedback on the name.
