My son’s name is [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I adore the literary ties.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a long time favorite of mine, but I was never really sure if it was the one.
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is an honor name. Its a smoosh of my mom and my two sisters’ middle names ([name_f]May[/name_f]+[name_u]Marie[/name_u]+[name_f]Ana[/name_f]) but hey, it just so happens to be a real name, too.
Does [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] sound okay? I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f]/Allie with [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. But now that I’ve “discovered” [name_f]Mariana[/name_f], I’m not sure if maybe I want to use that in the first name spot? Because [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_f]Mae[/name_f]/Mari is equally adorable.
And yes, I realize that they will be individuals and not always a set. But still.
Do you prefer the combo [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f], or [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] as a first name (with undetermined middle)?
Alice stylistically works well with [name_u]Finn[/name_u] it’s a short spunky choice with a happy sound. This is very similar too [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] look visually similar which makes the pair rather pleasing as well. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] has a lovely sound. [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is a gorgeous name that sounds very sweet as a middle name for [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
Mariana is beautiful name she feels very majestic and elegant. It’s a beautiful choice and feels really unexpected. I think [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is very refreshing as a first name. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though stylistically/visually [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] are a better match I am loving the idea of [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] as a first name. [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] feels like a storybook pairing it’s really gorgeous. I like the idea of [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] that’s so pretty.

Alice [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is a gorgeous combo! I love the balance between sweet, vintage [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and long, lovely [name_f]Mariana[/name_f]. I think I prefer [name_f]Alice[/name_f] to [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] as a first, although I’m charmed by the idea of [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. If you intend to mostly call her [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] would get my vote–but otherwise, I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is perfection!
I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is perfect because both names have meaning to you and fit together this way. If you go with [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] as a first you’ll have to abandon [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. And [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is a mesh of middle names so I feel it has more meaning in the middle spot.
Finn & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be adorable. And [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is beautiful & unexpected. I do like [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] though as a fn. And it’s probably less popular than [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Mari[/name_f] are cute nns. I also love [name_f]Ani[/name_f].
Alice [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is beautiful, but if you prefer [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] in the first name spot, [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be lovely!
I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is beautiful, but in this case, I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Marianna[/name_f], with that extra “n” is massively preferable.
