Both are lovely, but I have an [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] myself, so [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a gorgeous name and was one of the names I was thinking off when it came to naming my daughter. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is lively, elegant and has a warm inviting sound. I love the meaning of [name_f]Iris[/name_f] (rainbow) as I feel that the meaning sounds hopeful. The meaning is perfect for a pandemic baby especially if your in the U.K. as rainbows are used to symbolise the NHS this was one of the reasons why I liked it for my daughter. I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is lively botanical choice and I completely understand why she’s getting attention suddenly

I love both these names for different reasons, so impossible to choose from my point of view. Both are smart, streamlined names. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] has the beauty of tradition, [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has the beauty of retro-chic floral. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is edgier and less used, so may get my vote for that reason. One may feel just right to you when she is born?

Hmm…I like both, but I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. It’s the sweet, flowery feel that gets me. :slight_smile:

iris! it’s popular but not too popular, and the meaning is so sweet! i’ve never really liked the popularity of alice though it is starting to grow on me.

I much prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f]! [name_f]Alice[/name_f], while sweet, lacks the same spunk that [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has. I love how [name_f]Iris[/name_f] can be sweet and vintage or boho and adventurous.
