Alice or Violet?

I’m debating on [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] at the moment. I also really like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], but I’m not sure if it sounds the best with my other two kids: [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m].

I love classic, vintage names. I’ve never met an [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] in my area, so all seem fresh. I want one that fits well with my other kids’s names, but is a great stand alone as well.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my favorite of the three. I would only worry that you might be setting yourself up for an “A” theme if you go with this name. This might not bother you at all - I just wanted to point it out in case it would. I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] both sound good with [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. Between the two, I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] a little better but they are both lovely.

This is definitely my last child. I’ve wondered if it sounds too cheesy to have all 3 start with an A. I really love A names though, and it seems that’s what I’m drawn to!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my favorite by far.

I really like both, but I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] goes the best. It sticks to the A theme that you have going (intentional or not) but each child has their own sound.

I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] best as well.
It brings out the more vintage side to both [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m], and I don’t think the same initials are cheesy if done right!
[name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a very cute sibset.
I also like both [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but not as much with your kids names.

I would go for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - it’s a classic without being an old lady name, it’s very pretty-sounding, it’s whimsical, it’s vintage, and it’s not trendy like so many other names these days. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is the cool girl who’s a mix of hipster and drama nerd, [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is the nice one who pushes you to try new things. Take [name_f]Alice[/name_f] over [name_f]Violet[/name_f] any day.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] for sure!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] for sure .

[name_f]Ava[/name_f] , [name_m]Asher[/name_m] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are a adorable sibset !

I don’t think having all three names start with an “A” is too cheesy at all. I think [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] sound adorable together.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be my choice

I honestly like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] the best. I think it sounds best with your sibset.
I think for the aesthetics [name_f]Alice[/name_f] looks the best as it has the ‘A’.
But I like [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is very sweet and pretty! Simple and demure, but regal and elegant. I think of [name_f]Queen[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]'s daughter [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I find [name_f]Violet[/name_f] too harsh and grating, though I know it’s a Nameberry favourite. I personally wouldn’t do three A names under most circumstances, but if this really is your favourite name it’s better to use it than to pick something you like less for a better sibset.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is one of my favorite names, and I like how it fits with the ‘A’ theme. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] always reminds me of ‘violent’ but I think it goes better with [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m] since they are on the trendy side. I still choose [name_f]Alice[/name_f] though.

Not even because I’m biased, as I have 4, soon to be 5 kids with an A name… I really love [name_f]Alice[/name_f].

We’re actually using the beginning letters, -[name_u]Ali[/name_u]- to honor my husband’s grandmother that just passed in Dec of last year.
I would have used the actual name [name_f]Alice[/name_f], but I didn’t feel like it fit with our other children’s names well.

The only problem I’ve had with the A theme, is I have to go through the list of names when someone is in trouble… lol. Not even just
because of the A names I’m sure, but that I have so many children and I get little to no sleep.

I vastly prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] to [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!) personally, but I do like the alliteration of [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. There’s just something about it. But [name_f]Violet[/name_f] still gets my vote. I think [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are lovely together. Besides, if you ever have another, you won’t feel pressured to keep with the “A” theme if you don’t want to.

I love both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] personally, but think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] fits better with [name_f]Ava[/name_f] & [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. I don’t like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] at all & think it sounds harsh next to the sibling names.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is so sweet, and if this is your last child, may as well go for it and use all A’s!

I like both [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] but I would carry on the theme.

I love both! I think I prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] just a tad bit more because of it’s nature connection (I love purple and blue flowers!), but I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would go the best with your kids.

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with anything, but I really like the idea of [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] with maybe [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as a sibset!
