Alice?

[name]Just[/name] wanted a little insight on this question that’s been floating around in my head for a little while, and I never know if something in my head is fact or just something that I really want to be true. So, how popular do you think [name]Alice[/name] will get? [name]Do[/name] you think it will stay popular for a long time? Thanks Berries!

Hmm, to be honest Im not a fan of the name [name]Alice[/name]. All I see in the name is A lice, which is probably not a great connection, imo! It is such a classic name, and obviously people love it. I know 2 people my age (25) with this name and there are a couple in two of my children’s classes. Im not really sure how long it will stay popular or whether it will get really popular, but I say that if you really love a name, you won’t care about the popularity and only use it because you love it.

I adore [name]Alice[/name], but it HAS made considerable jumps in popularity, I think it may crack the top 75 or so, but I do not think it will ever be top 20 material.

Agree completely. [name]Alice[/name] is just a little too prim for the [name]Isabella[/name] and [name]Brielle[/name] set.

I don’t think [name]Alice[/name] will get enormously popular. I love [name]Alice[/name] a lot. It’s very pretty and classic, but I don’t think it will be popular right now in the age of [name]Isabella[/name]'s, [name]Ella[/name]'s etc…

I love [name]Alice[/name]. I don’t think its the new [name]Isabella[/name], and I doubt it’ll ever get hugely popular.

I like it, my Husband’s Grandmother is named [name]Alice[/name] [name]Marie[/name] which I think is a good combo.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Alice[/name] for so many reasons: [name]Alice[/name] in Wonderland, [name]Alice[/name] [name]Walker[/name], [name]Alice[/name] Sebold (author of The [name]Lovely[/name] Bones), “[name]Alice[/name]” the song by Cocteau twins…so lovely.

I’m not sure about in [name]America[/name], but in the UK [name]Alice[/name] is one of those names that is always used and liked, but not had the boom in popularity [name]Isabella[/name] has. It may have done in the past, but I think it’s a safely classic name now.

I knew one [name]Alice[/name] at school, and also an [name]Alys[/name] (Welsh, the original spelling).
